Groups Attendance Dashboard

A detailed list of the last time someone was scheduled to serve in a position. It is broken down by service type and position. The data is generated direct from the api and is updated weekly. This is a chef plus report.

Giving Report Email
This recipe sends a detailed high level Giving Report Email to a Planning Center List. This is usually used for staff meetings, Trustees, Board Members etc. The report includes fund totals, labels, percentage of giving that was online, and the total amount of fees from online giving.
Master Lists Report
This is a report of all your Planning Center Lists and lists shared with you. It shows who created them, last run, automations, and permissions. Due to security restrictions in Planning Center API it does not show other people's lists unless they are shared with you.
Quick Message Recipe
Send a txt to a planning center list with just a couple clicks. Pick a list, and generate a link you can add to your desktop/phone home screen for sending quick txt to a list.
Daily Report Email
This Chef Plus recipe sends a Report by email of today's birthdays, anniversaries, and all new profiles created since yesterday to a Planning Center List. We use this to prompt staff to do proactive pastoral contact.

Extended Giving Statement
For churches that want to record and report certain types of giving, which cannot be recorded directly in PCO Giving (e.g. gifts in kind, third-party distributions, etc.). It generates statements per household, including all notes with a specified prefix, within the specified dates. To use, create note categories with specified prefix (default is "Extended Giving - "). Each note created in these categories will appear on the statement, including the date, the name of the category (after the prefix) and the description.

Household Photo Directory
This report generates photo directories with household photos, and custom listing preferences for member contact info. It can also display asterisks beside non-members. It requires several of custom fields, which are described in the notes at the top of the code. If you want to create a PDF for this report, you must generate it as HTML, and then convert to PDF. This is because of the way Planning Center's PDF generator handles (or doesn't handle) image files in custom tabs.

3-Column Directory
Print-ready photo directory in 3 columns. Members are sorted by household. This report can be created as a .pdf directly from a list in People. As is, this report requires date_joined and date_departed custom fields, but you should be able to remove all references to those fields without ill effects. New custom fields should be easy to add as a new <div> inside of the <li class="member">, following the pattern illustrated with date_joined.

Limited spaces are available for Market Stallholders at our annual Christmas Festival. Sunday 25th December 12pm-5pm. We are located at ~~~~ Church, 1 Random Road, Suburb, State Postcode. Kid Ministry's Rosters
This is a semi-customizable roster that uses the columns in the list to format the report. In my case, I have the columns be Photo, Name, Birthday (without year), Primary Contact, and Medical Notes in the list. On the report, I have custom Headers since the originals were taking up too much room. I added a spot for checking that the child made it to the room and a spot for when they leave. The "Out" box also includes a spot for the volunteer to write down the Security Code so they make sure to check the parents' tags at the door.

Facilities Team Setup Report
I got a lot of requests for a calendar report that only prints the info needed for the Facilities team for setup. This report was contracted by Calvary Church of Santa Ana in Santa Ana, CA. And they were thrilled to let me share it here! Setup: You need two yes/no questions for each room. 1. A lockup Question. The default is "Room Unlock + Relock Needed" 2. A Setup Question. The default is "Room Setup Needed" You can change these default questions at the top of the report, but you do need both of them for the report to work. If either question is marked yes then that event will be displayed on the report. Type any additional instructions/notes that facilities team needs in the "Notes" section for that room when you are adding the event, and those notes will be displayed if the setup question is marked yes. Household Dynamic Mailing Labels - Avery 5160
This report dynamically generates mailing labels based on the results from a list. Only the names of people on the list will be included on the mailing label. If both members of a married couple are included on the list, they will print as either "John & Jane Smith" or "John Smith & Jane Doe," based on whether they share the same last name. If two unmarried adults (who are members on the same household) are included, they will show as "John Smith, Jane Doe." In all cases, the primary contact will be listed first, and all names will include a prefix (if set). If only children in a household are included, the household name will be printed instead.

Mail Merge Spreadsheet
A non-profit organization that works with foster care sponsored this report so they could generate a mail merge spreadsheet to copy into excel or google sheets. The greeting combines the first names of adults in the household unless that adult has a custom communication tab 'No Mail' field set to Yes.

Leadership Guide
I put together this bulletin-type report for our worship leaders (pastor, assisting minister, lector, etc.). It should be pretty straight forward, except for the People portion. We have two services with different people volunteering at each, and I had to do some funky variable manipulation to separate out the list of people by service time. I've added several custom fields to the Items in Services, including one to identify which elements of the service are standing. For hymns/songs, if we're skipping verses, I will take the lyrics and paste only the relevant ones in the Details box. If the report sees data in that box and it's a song, it will print that. Otherwise it prints the Lyrics. I've got a lot more in this vein that I've done. LMK if anyone is interested. Dr. Gus

Creates 4x6 cards of each member of a list. We use these to create a visible org chart of where people in our church are serving and who is leading their team. I have limited knowledge of coding and used chatgpt for this. Export as PDF instead of HTML to make printing easier. How to use after importing to planning center. Go to planning center people -> lists -> choose your list -> hit the printer icon (print list) -> choose this recipe - save as PDF (html doesn't separate them into different pages as well) -> Click the blue hyperlinked file to the right of the "print list" button. Once you have your PDF on your computer. Open the PDF in adobe -> File -> Export A PDF -> Images -> JPEG -> (Click the create a folder button because it will create as many images as there are pages) Name the default name of the files -> hit save -> upload the folder of images to wherever you print photos.

Attendance Roster by Household
The recent issues with Check-Ins and sometimes internet issue at the check-in stations we have modified the original report by Nathan Ward (simple attendance roster). Report from any People List. We use this for Sunday morning worship with our Regular Attendees list. This report is grouped by household and is listing only the adults. Because the output already has table grids, we removed the lines/text boxes created in the original. Idea: Print and keep at the check-ins area; when the internet is out or check-ins is down, pull it out. Once used, print out another for the next time it's needed. Household Dynamic Mailing Labels - Table (Run as HTML)
This report dynamically generates mailing labels based on the results from a list. Only the names of people on the list will be included on the mailing label. If both members of a married couple are included on the list, they will print as either "John & Jane Smith" or "John Smith & Jane Doe," based on whether they share the same last name. If two unmarried adults (who are members of the same household) are included, they will show as "John Smith, Jane Doe." In all cases, the primary contact will be listed first, and all names will include a prefix (if set). If only children in a household are included, the household name will be printed instead. This version generates as a table when run as an HTML report, which you can copy and paste into a spreadsheet.

Household Directory - Dynamic Names
This is for creation of a printed directory to distribute to congregants. It does a few things: Groups and alphabetizes by Household, with primary address and home phone in left column. Adults print in center column with their mobile phone and email address, and Children and right column. When Household adults have different last names, it lists both last names in the left column, otherwise it just prints a single last name. Left column also includes an "other" address, for 'Snowbirds' or others with multiple addresses Left column also includes a "church mailbox #" which is custom field we created for an on-site pigeonhole mailbox system we have for distributing communications Lastly, this report designates those with "Participating Member" membership type by putting a * next to the first name. Credit to many of you - for the patchwork of other recipes I built upon, and to Ron for resolving a few issues for me.

Original Request ---------------------------------- Pastor Ron, I’m the Creative Arts Pastor here at Faith Bible Church in Glendale, AZ. I oversee all things related to worship and communication. I was looking for a very simple report to use at staff meetings that shows us events for a determined time period. All I need is the name of the event, no details. I had hoped to try my hand at modifying an existing report, but my coding skills are non-existent and unfortunately, I don’t have time to learn that stuff right now (although it is a goal!) I created a tag called staff calendar that can be added to the event that need to be listed. Essentially, the report needs to look something like the example below: October 21 – Youth Pancake Breakfast 21 – Grand Prix Workshop 24 – 11/7 – Jeff Vacation 28 – Granada Estates Halloween 28 – Dia de la Reforma 29 – Communion 29 – Prayer Service 31 – Halloween November 3-4 – Mission Connexion 4 – Español Breakfast 11 – POWWOW Etc…. for as much as 6 months at a time.
